N.V.Aranyik was founded 30 year ago by Mr.Niwat Wangsilabat, whose family was from Phai Nong village and have been making knives and other cutlery for many generations. It can be said that he was the real inheritor of ARANYIK legends. Moreover, he also initiated new types of handmade cutlery and tableware whose holders are made as those of big knives used in hard works. The cutlery was firstly sold at Surawongse and Oriental hotel roads. Since it needed production skills and was made on a household basis by 4-5 members, they could produce only 20 pieces per day. After that, the demand of the product continually increased, the family dicided to use machines in production instead. In 1986, Mr.Niwat died and the business was then taken over by his son, Mr.Thotsaphon Wangsilabat. Not only keeping the legend of ARANYIK knives, Thotsaphon also expanded the business by widening product lines and increasing production capacity. Nowdays, more than 5,000 pieces of cutlery and tablewares are produced from the factory per day. The products served customers in the domestic market and were distributed abroad, and won many honorable prizes helping the company's products to became widely known and recognized.
